Bioshock 1.5 2010-08-21 |
| By James P. |
| It's Bioshock, which is good, but this is hardly what I would consider a sequel. Improvements to the game play make it worth playing, but lower your expectations if you are expecting this title to raise the bar. |
Instant Classic!! 2010-08-21 |

| I've heard people complain about how it is a lot like the original, but is that a bad thing? I found the story to be as good as the first, if not better, but that's just my opinion. The gameplay is largely the same, except for a few minor positive tweaks (dual-wield, improved plasmids, new hacking mini-game). Bioshock 1 and 2 are easily some of the best games out there. I definitely reccommend it to fans of the first Bioshock and newcomers! |
Bioshock 2: The sequel to my favorite game 2010-08-20 |
| By Brandon J. Meredith |
| When I finished the first Bioshock recently, I was just in awe with the gameplay, graphics, and most of all the story. So I knew I had to play the second Bioshock. The second installation to the first game doesn't change many elements except the hacking system and the ability to use 2 plasmids to mix their effects. This game doesn't seem much different from the first game, but it does keep you hooked like the first game. I recommend this game if you have finished the first and enjoyed it. |
Bio2 2010-08-16 |

| You again are dropped into the murkey depths of Rapture, this time as a bad### big daddy who can use plasmids and weapons at the same time. Gameplay stays true to the original and it still feels like the first title. If you liked Bioshock, you'll enjoy its sequel. In my opinion i think Bio 1 had a much better and more engrossing story line. I played it many times and loved every playthrough. This title did not ring the same as after i got the platinum i didnt play it much. They put emphasis on the multiplayer (have to hit max level in order to get the plat), but due to lag issues, missing xp, and an overall lack of weapon scaling, i have to drop the overall game to a 3 of 5. The multiplayer just had a lot more potential then they ended up using. |
