Like the original BOOM BLOX strategy Bash Party is based all-around quick-paced gameplay this utilizes players' reflexes, dexterity, and problem-solving skills. During the action players use the Wii Remote to direct objects and forces toward structures made of blocks in order to knock them over. There is in addition Jenga like gameplay during which players pull blocks, together with the goal of toppling as many of them as possible, but not including delivering down the whole structure. In doing this players have to deal together with the different types of blocks in have fun. Some of these contain: gem blocks, blocks together with point values attached, explosive blocks this detonate on contact, vanishing blocks this disappear when struck, wood blocks, and steel blocks. I cannot find significant faults with this game, really.
It captures the fun of the original, while adding loads of new levels plus some new elements.
The only criticism I have is sometimes a block of pile of them will lean without falling when I think the should, however it does not appear to be "way off" from where it should be.
Would highly recommend, especially at the lower price. |
