An usual guy doing his excellent to do ends meet, Cole had been a bike messenger. Just before the blast he had been sent to ground zero to bring a package. In the aftermath of the catastrophe, he awakes to locate this somehow he has gained strange electrical powers. Empire City is in shambles though. Riots have erupted, breeding chaos and emboldening great criminal gangs hungry for power and profit. In the panic this follows the city is quarantined from the mainland, and television broadcasts packed together with damning safety camera footage link Cole to the scene of the explosion. Cole is now a wanted man, but his extraordinary electricity-based powers and perhaps a semblance of responsibility for the well-being of Empire City are growing. Who is really responsible for the blast though? In together, developing and learning to control Cole's electricity-based powers is crucial. Cole can not actually generate energy, so these powers are based on energy manipulation instead. This manipulation comes in three basic shapes: discharge of energy at living or inanimate targets in either diffused or precise bursts; generation of energy shields used as protection against the weapons or exclusive powers of enemies; and the infusion of objects together with time-delayed destructive energy for use as grenades or mines. As spectacular as these powers are they do have drawbacks though. For the reason that electricity can cause combustion, Cole can not wield firearms and can be harm by products he blows up. In addition, like anything electrically driven, his capabilities require a power source. In the damaged, but not destroyed Empire City, these sources can be found throughout the gameplay region, but players must note this certain actions drain energy faster than others and this enemies will become aware of your want of a power source as the strategy proceeds and accordingly strive to destroy those sources. This want for power in addition offers a key illustration of the strategy's morality system. As battles rage throughout the gameplay region and power sources become either scarce or destroyed, Cole is faced together with the ethics of his 'bio-illustrate' capability. Throughout this he can harvest electrical energy from living organisms. VERY FUN BUT TOO MANY GLITCHES! WOW 2010-03-10 |
| By Cory W. Yates (Indiana) |
| I can't give this game any more than a 1 star based on the number of glitches I have experienced within the first week. I have played at least half way through the game and have had screen tearing, glitches everywhere, and the game has frozen on me at least 10 times where I have had to restart! No kidding! That is inexcusable. Its an awesome game I just wish it would work all of the time! |
Great game. Great story. 2010-03-08 |
| By Jon F. Marston |
| This is a great game with a great story! Some minor control issues get annoying at times but not enough to take away from the fun in electrocuting everything. I am a gamer who thrives on a good story and I found this to be one of the best stories in both substance and execution. |
Great game!! 2010-03-05 |

its good but not great 2010-03-02 |
| By Marlon B. Parales (long beach, ca usa) |
This game plays like Assassins Creed, Force Unleashed and GTA. You can climb anything and go anywhere. You're powers are awesome and dependant on whether or not you're good or bad. And you can shoot anything or anyone. Its a lot of fun. The downside is the frustrating enemies. They seemly have 20/20 vision from the BACK of their heads and are all snipers with their machine guns. The gameplay is good but the fact that the main character grabs and tries to climb everything gets annoying.
Could have been better but not bad. |
